I dreamt of this same man for three days straight. Him floating in an ocean filled with rose petals is the most calming thing my mind has ever shown me. I do no understand a thing about this vision; all I know is I could see how tired he was and that he was completely calm about it.

Portrays a modern reincarnation of Oshun; the river goddess. In the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, West-Africa, Oshun is typically associated with water, purity, love, fertility and sensuality. She is considered one of the most powerful of all orishas, and, like other gods, she possesses human attributes such as vanity, jealousy, and spite, which is reflected in her appearance, facial expression and posture. Details of her arms, resting on the chair, wide apart, exerting her assertiveness. Her legs, calculatedly crossed. I chose this gesture to depict Oshun as seductive in her appearance, confident, powerful, while also being a faithful wife — a true queen. 👑
