ABOUT ARTWORK
Àyònge (A young girl): Transliterarily means A young, bright girl between teens and late 20s. Most young
African girls these days look really sophisticated. The extra piercings and flamboyant fashion items represent bold choices and the loud voices of the present-day African women in our society. A lifted head pose represents pride, confidence, and power.
