ABOUT ARTWORK
Òdòdó: Transliterarily means flower. A flower vase is depicted while the foliage carves out the shape of a young woman just reaching adolescence. She holds a flower close to her nose, eyes closed as she sniffs. This pose suggest self-love, confidence and high self esteem of the 21st century black woman. The indigo flower vase with Àdìre motifs suggests she is a yoruba girl from Ogun or Osun state. A longer look reveals more.
