Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BuyAvrika, a store builder operated by SOKOFA LTD. By creating an account or placing an order on a BuyAvrika store you agree to them.
Stores and vendors
Vendors are independent sellers. Each store is run by its vendor, who is responsible for the products they list, the accuracy of their listings, fulfilling orders, and honouring their own return and delivery policies. BuyAvrika provides the software; we are not the seller of record for store products.
What you may not sell
Illegal goods, counterfeits, weapons, stolen property, or anything that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend or remove any store at our discretion to protect buyers or the platform.
Payments and fees
We take no commission on sales settled to your own bank account. Optional services carry their own clearly stated prices: paid plans, domain purchases, and managed card collection, which carries a 15 percent service charge per card order. Card processing is provided by Paystack and their standard gateway charges apply. Managed collection balances can be withdrawn to a verified Nigerian bank account; payouts are normally sent within one business day of a request.
Plans and renewals
Paid plans run for the period purchased and do not renew automatically. If a plan lapses, the store stays online on the Free plan; nothing is deleted. Domain purchases cover one year of registration; renewal is offered before expiry and a domain that is not renewed expires.
Identity verification
Vendors must complete an identity check before publishing a store or receiving payouts. Providing false information is grounds for immediate removal.
Refunds and returns
Returns on store products are between the buyer and the vendor, using the returns tools built into every store. Platform fees for services already delivered, such as a registered domain, are not refundable once the service has been provided, except where the law requires otherwise.
Account deletion
Vendors may delete their account at any time from their dashboard, subject to the process described on our data management page, which exists to protect buyers with open orders.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email to account holders. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
